Ans: Because one organism can have different common names in different regions/languages, and sometimes the same name is given to different organisms. Example: “Star fish” is not actually a fish. This is why scientific names (Binomial Nomenclature) are used universally.

Ans: It is called a “necessary evil” because while it causes water loss (harmful), it is absolutely necessary to create the transpirational pull that transports water and minerals from the roots to the leaves and provides a cooling effect to the plant.
