CM Punjab has announced the foundation of the first autism school of Pakistan in Lahore. According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the school will provide special education and facilities to the children with autism.
CM Punjab Maryam Safdar has ordered to accomplish the project within a year. She emphasized the need for hiring internationally qualified experts to guide project. The experts ensure the quality and standard for children with autism.
The school for autism will comprise of 11 junior and 10 senior classroom sections. The ground floor will contain cubicle speech session rooms with a therapy room and a training room. It includes a computer lab and all essentials.
She added to create a meeting room on the first floor to daily notice the live activities of the children and to compensate them actively.
