A minimum of seven passing marks will be mandated to students to get grace marks in board exams. Many proposals were reviewed to standardize the academic system.
The Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) has announced the mandatory grace marks for all the national boards. The decision was imposed during the meeting at the subcommittee of the Karachi Secondary Education Board.
Moreover, the minimum passing marks increased for intermediate exams for the students are now 40 instead of 33 from the next academic year, as disclosed by the IBCC Executive Director, Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah.
