The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has announced two-day weekly holiday ends for school and colleges in Islamabad. This means only Sunday is considered a holiday in a week. According to the notification, all educational institutions under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) will stay open on Saturday.
To accomplish the remaining syllabus of subjects, this decision is taken, which is effective from November 30, 2024, to February 1, 2025.
Due to the protest of PTI workers, Islamabad schools remained off, which created a gap in studies. Therefore, this notification is issued by the authorities on November 29, 2024.
