The Punjab government may announce two weeks of winter vacations across the province. The winter vacations in Punjab 2024 will start from December 21, 2024, to January 1, 2025, in all public and private schools and colleges.
Winter Vacations in Punjab 2024
The Punjab School Education Department will announce the final decision according to the weather conditions at that time. However, the expected dates for all private and government educational institutions are from December 21 (Saturday) till January 1, 2025 (Wednesday).
The winter holidays in the last year were from December 18 to January 9 due to an unexpected situation of the weather.
After the drop in smog level, the Punjab government has reopened the schools in the divisions of Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, and Faisalabad. The educational institutions in Lahore and Multan will reopen tomorrow, November 20.
SOPs for Schools
- Timings: Schools will open no earlier than 8:45 AM.
- Masks: Students and teachers must wear masks during school hours.
- Outdoor Activities: All outdoor sports and co-curricular events remain suspended.
