The Higher Education Commission (HEC) is hiring interns instead of regular teachers with master’s degrees. According to a report on Wednesday, it is notified that HEC is hiring interns as College Teacher Interns (CTIs) rather than recruiting the regular teachers.
A summary has been submitted for approval, proposing the appointment of CTIs for eight months with a monthly stipend of Rs. 50,000. The recruitment process will start in the next month.
The Public Service Commission test will not be entertained for the CTIs because of irregular recruitments.
