Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit for unmarried male citizens of Pakistan
| Candidates | Age in years |
| Civilians | 16.5 to 21 |
| Service (Armed forces in uniform) | 17 to 23 |
- Minimum Height for PN Cadet is 5 feet and 4 inches
Ineligibility Criteria
- Screened out two times by ISSB
- Declared unfit by Medical Board permanently
- Unfit due to hepatitis (B & C)
- PAF candidates who are unfit for flying, can undergo routine medical checkup. If fit, can apply for ground branches
- Withdrawn/ Discharged/ Resigned or purchase of commission from any Armed Forces Officers’ Academy/ Training Institution on any ground.
- Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces College/ institution on disciplinary grounds.
- Dismissed/ Removed/ Debarred from Government Services including Armed Forces.
- Due to any offense, convicted by the court of law
- ISSB recommended candidates can apply but will have to undergo all procedures
- Tempering of academic documents for a candidate will become ineligible forever
Educational Qualification
It is mandatory to pass Matric and Intermediate with 60% marks with any of the following subjects.
Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science
Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics
Statistics, Physics and Mathematics
Important Note
- O/A level candidates are required to submit equivalence certificate by the board.
- Candidates apply after Part-1, must have cleared first year with 65% marks and they need to apply hope certificate by their institute or board.
- If a candidate fail to pass the Part-2 papers of intermediate with 60% marks, he will be dropped at any stage.
How to Apply for PN Cadet
Apply to www.joinpaknavy.gov.pk for PN cadet. The registration dates to apply for PN cadet are given twice a year by the naval Headquarters from May to June and from October to November.
The candidates printout the form and reach to the centers for the entrance test on the intimated dates by Naval department.
PN Cadet Test
Computer based test/ e-testing will be conducted in following subjects:
- Intelligent test
- Academic test (English, Maths/ Physics & General Knowledge)
The candidates who will pass the initial test, will be shortlisted for the medical test, physical test and interview.
PET stands for Physical Efficiency Test has the following standards:
